This adaptive reuse project involves the conversion of a former gymnasium on the historic Clark Kerr Campus at UC Berkeley into a 3,200 sf daycare facility including the addition of new children’s and staff bathrooms and increased office and storage space. Improvements to the main classroom include a new food prep kitchen, storage cubbies and cabinets, lighting, and acoustical treatments to reduce noise within the concrete building shell.
